The Author:

Fred Bernard has as it were the wine in the blood. Born shortly before the harvest in Burgundy, he grew up surrounded by boxes and crates of grands crus: his favorite playgrounds were the cellars of his grandfather and his great-grandfather, both winegrowers. He was constantly told: “When you grow up, you will make wine”. Alas, he chose a career as an author; but the pleasure of wine remained.
