Presentation :

As craft breweries continue to expand around the world, the World Beer Atlas is the definitive and essential guide to beer. Discover the rich and varied traditions of Belgium, the Nordic legend that is Finnish Sahti, the relatively new phenomenon of New England's hazy IPA, and why Australia's low-alcohol beers are one of his greatest achievements. With thousands of breweries operating around the world, and more opening every day, here's the expert guide to what's actually worth drinking.

Authors:

Tim Webb began writing about the best types of beer at a time when most talk had to be put in the past tense. During his six years on the board of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), he ran Britain's National Beer Festival and co-founded the CAMRA publishing company. He has edited the Good Beer GuideBelgium continuously since 1992 and has won awards for his beer writing in four countries. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he has witnessed and chronicled the return of craft beer brewing, perhaps the most extraordinary consumer-led revolution of modern times.

Stephen Beaumont is internationally recognized as one of the leading beer writers in the world today. He is the author or co-author of ten other beer books, including The Beer & Food Companion and two editions of the Pocket Beer Book, and has contributed to numerous other works. During his 26 years covering the global beer scene, Stephen has written hundreds of articles and columns for publications as diverse as Whiskey Advocate, Playboy and The Celebrator, and has hosted tastings, dinners and educational events around the world, from Mexico City to Burton-on-Trent and from Philadelphia to Beijing.
