With its maps, appellation sheets, and educational explanations, this is the irreplaceable manual for an introduction to the wines of Burgundy.
Les Vins de Bourgogne, sold in more than 250 000 copies, is the reference on the subject. This book gives with precision and clarity all the information necessary for the knowledge of the wines of Burgundy and Beaujolais. It is an indispensable manual for amateurs, students and professionals, everything is explained: the vineyards, their cultures, their terroirs and their geographical maps; the wines, their appellations, their methods of vinification and marketing; the pleasures of knowing how to drink and the winegrowers' festivals.
Its frequent reissues allow for serious updates that provide users with a level of information security not found in any other book of its kind. The owner-winemakers and merchant-breeders of Burgundy consider it and recommend it as the best educational guide.
