Presentation:

Fleur Godart and Justine Saint-Lô take us on a journey to meet the winemakers of tomorrow. For a year, they have criss-crossed the vineyards and discovered those who, listening to nature, have chosen to work the vine differently.

Pruning, soil work, treatments, and major issues such as the balance of flora and fauna in the vineyard, as well as the fundamental question of the desire to make wine and the meaning that goes with it, are all addressed. From Collioure to Bordeaux, passing through Champagne, the Loire, Beaujolais, Majorca or Auvergne, traditions differ as much as constraints, the practices of culture are mixed and it is this variety that the two authors share and highlight through this comic strip.

Fleur Godart and Justine Saint Lô introduce us to the rich and varied personalities of the winemakers who interpret these terroirs.

In addition to this graphic narrative, a complete wine lexicon is presented at the end of the book.

The authors:

Justine Saint-Lô goes out to meet people and draws her discoveries with a bold and lively line. She now lives in a collective populated by artists and travelling craftsmen, with whom she chooses to lead an alternative life. After Pur jus and Pur jus vinification, she wants to explore other subjects, other techniques, and takes on this new work "Accouche ! Leaving the mysteries of wine for a while, she and her friend Fleur will tackle the veil of modesty that covers the moment of childbirth. To inform in order to better choose. To know in order to be freer. Learning for pleasure. Justine lives in Maine et Loire
(Saumur).

Fleur Godart, after two co-publications on natural wine punctuated by two deliveries, feels authorized to leave her field of specialization to affirm by writing her desire to act for a more egalitarian world, to share her joys, and to break taboos. There is a lot of work to be done, and fortunately, there is still a lot of wine in the cellar. Fleur lives in the suburbs of Paris.
