Here is finally translated into French the work which offers us an immersion in the work of Pedro Parra and his study (for more than 20 years) of the greatest wine terroirs in the world. A reference book in terms of terroir analysis, scientific studies and the connection between wine, its soil and its terroir.

In this book, Pedro Parra tells us about his journey from his native Chile to the most prestigious vineyards, his meetings, his research and his passion for jazz and wine! Pedro Parra brings a new vision of the vine. He is, in fact, the first to have dared to formalize the link between the terroir and the taste of wine.

The author:

Pedro Parra is today an expert recognized worldwide and has collaborated with Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, Jean-Marc Roulot, Biondi Santi, Argiano in Montalcino and Comando G in Spain, among others. He is recognized as a world figure in wine, largely for his work on wine-growing terroirs and his research in partnership with numerous winegrowers to reveal the great terroirs of tomorrow.

His innovative work to popularize the relationship between wine and its terroir was published in the prestigious “Decanter Magazine Top 50 Power List” in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
Pedro has a doctorate in wine terroirs from the Center de l'Agriculture (Paris), the result of 18 years of research on French, Italian, Spanish and American terroirs, including in particular Burgundy, Barolo, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Montalcino, Bolgheri, Napa, Sonoma and Oregon. Consultant in many countries, Pedro Parra brings a new vision to professionals and enthusiasts wishing to better understand the properties of each terroir and soil.
