Cultivated in Tuscany and the south of France, Iris Pallida is one of the most expensive raw materials in the perfumer's palette. Obtaining its precious absolute requires five to six years of patience after planting, for the fragrant compounds to develop in the rhizome of the flower. Its fragrance, complex and delicate, is floral, powdery, woody, buttery and reminiscent of violet.
