Presentation :
Champagne lover? This collection of gastronomic moments intends to enchant your daily life with recipes that go wonderfully with Champagne. Orchestrated by the fire master Sébastien Demorand, he presents a nice way of changing preconceived ideas! Champagne, emperor of wines, is seen far too much as an institution by the 20-30 year old generation while this same generation says it wants to shake up everything... Young chefs have therefore taken part in the game of creating ten recipes simple to put bubbles back at the heart of our daily lives, outside of the all-too-classic moments of celebration.
The Author:
The late Sébastien Demorand, born August 4, 1969 in Salisbury (Zimbabwe) is a journalist and culinary critic. He is the brother of the journalist and broadcaster Nicolas Demorand and Catherine Demorand (sculptor). Holder of a Master's degree in Political Science, he then joined a journalism school. Hired on Europe 1, he exercised his talents there for 6 years. He left to join the publishing house Gault & Millau where he worked for 3 years for the guide and the magazine. In 2002, Sébastien Demorand set out on his own and wrote columns on different media: radio (RTL) or magazines (L'optimum). He has also written works such as The kitchens of gastronomic criticism (2009) and Canteens: cult recipes reviewed by chefs (2006). In 2010, he joined the MasterChef jury, alongside Frédéric Anton and Yves Camdebordes.
