Presentation :

With its maps, appellation sheets, and educational explanations, it is the irreplaceable manual for learning about Burgundy wines.

Les Vins de Bourgogne, with over 250,000 copies sold, is the reference on the subject. This book provides with precision and clarity all the information necessary for understanding the wines of Burgundy and Beaujolais. It is an essential manual for amateurs, students and professionals, everything is explained: the vineyards, their cultures, their terroirs and their geographical maps; the wines, their appellations, their vinification and marketing methods; the pleasures of drinking and wine festivals.

Its frequent reissues allow for serious updates that provide users with a level of information security not found in any other work of this kind. Burgundy winegrower-owners and wine merchants-producers consider it and recommend it as the best educational guide.

This introductory manual to Burgundy wine and winemaking is therefore a reminder that can be consulted anywhere: in the office, while traveling, in the cellar, in the vineyard.

84 appellations in the form of fact sheets, 8 color maps of vineyards, 60 color maps of appellations, 30 tables and diagrams.

17th edition, completely revised and expanded.
