Overview:
If you have ever found yourself in a wine shop staring at rows of unfamiliar names…
If you have ever bought a bottle for its label, hoping you’d made a good choice…
If you have ever felt that there were extraordinary wines out there, but you couldn't quite find them…
You are right. There are.
“Pick Your Bottles” is the guide by Dan Keeling, co-founder of Noble Rot, to discovering them: the wines he loves to recommend. His secret is simple: the most exciting wines come from real people, in real places—not from brands.
Whether you are looking for an intriguing wine to share with friends or a casual bottle for a Sunday lunch that stretches into the late afternoon, Dan will help you choose delicious, original wines that are better value for money than you might think.
Do you love rosé? He will introduce you to much more than just “Whispering Angel”: bottles with character, far from the clichés. Whether it’s sparkling, white, red, or orange rosés, you will avoid predictable brands in favor of lesser-known treasures that reward your curiosity without breaking the bank.
Here is the advice he wishes he had received: a friend’s recommendations to help you choose better bottles.
