Presentation :
Why do we drink wine? One might be tempted to answer "because it's good," or "because it intoxicates"... But what else? Is there a more fundamental or rational explanation for our attraction to this fermented beverage?
Follow this meticulous and thrilling investigation by Professor Fabrizio Bucella, who, through history and science, seeks to unravel the mystery of the deep bonds between man and wine.
“A book as entertaining as it is exciting, to read in a bistro, a restaurant, or a wine cellar.”
Stéphane Reynaud, Le Figaro
"His latest book is one of those works that makes us feel as intelligent and brilliant as its author while remaining easy to read."
Jacques Dupont, Le Point
